It's post number 1000!

I have been spewing nonsense for about five and half years here.  "A five year mission to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life, and new civilizations, to boldly go where no mom has gone before."

Yeah, didn't do any of that.  I have ranted, I have babbled, I have laughed hysterically, and I have changed directions more than once.  I've even gotten brave at times and tried to share my faith.

It seems the posts that get the most hits are Cub Scout projects.  That's perfectly fine.  I don't know that I can make this blog totally all about Cub Scouts.  There are so many blogs/websites out there that offer so much more than I do in the way of Cubbing tips.  And then there's the fact that the BSA is going to change the Cub Scout program quite a bit starting in May 2015.

The fact that my camera died has certainly hampered my motivation to post more here.  I can only draw so much.

I created the pseudonym "mormonhermitmom" because when I started this blog I was stuck at home a good deal with toddlers running around.  I get out more now.  I'm even looking for part time employment because now I have TEENAGERS running around and boy are they expensive!

Interestingly enough, I don't feel as much of a need to get out now anyway.

Half a dozen times I've been tempted to just hang it all up and delete this whole mess.  Each time I think that, someone I know asks for help on a Cub project I've done and posted here before.  I send them a link and boom! it's all there for them.

So this is what I'm going to do.  I'll keep this blog up for anyone that wants a Cub Scout project idea, or a silly movie clip, and I'll just come back every once in a while if I've found something I just HAAAAAAVE to share.  I'm not going to hang out the dirty laundry here, or bore you with insignificant little details that have absolutely no meaning whatsoever anymore.  If you've followed this blog for this long, thank you and God bless and all that jazz.

If you know me in real life, you know where my cave is.
