Say What: She's almost a teenager at 9

The Dad: Who wants to say family prayer?

(Crickets chirping)

The Dad: (To the nine year old girl) Okay, you can pray tonight.

Nine year old girl: No!

Eleven year old boy: You've just been volunteered.

Nine year old girl: No! I don't want to be volunteered. I have issues!

Where the heck did she get an answer like THAT! Is one of the parents famous for saying something like that? LOL

Don't they all!!! Love it. We assign days. On your day it is your responsibility to say the prayers (all of them) no arguing. Everyone has a day, so it keeps them all praying and they are learning that when you feel least like praying is when you probably need it the most.
