The local stores are selling pumpkins for $3.50 a piece (they are on average a little bigger, a darker orange and scarred like Freddy Kreuger visited the patch).

Most of mine are a tad smaller, a brighter orange, and almost pristine.
A big thank you to the Lord above for the harvest!
I'm waiting for another half a dozen on the vines to finish ripening. It hasn't frozen yet, so I'm hoping there will be some MORE to harvest next week.

Your pumpkins look great! We went to a pumpkin patch today and they charged us 3 bucks each just to get in and then their pumpkin patch was awful. You could tell it had not been a good year -most of the pumpkins were still green and there weren't very many of them. Silly!

Oh wow! What lovely pumpkins you have grown! I am not a gardener. In fact, my ONE plant looks kind of weepy today!
