I don't know about you but....

...being a supermom wannabe gets really old.

We've had a long weekend of cleaning carpets, donating stuff in our closets to thrift stores, dealing with sick kids (and hubby too) and I still haven't been able to organize our upcoming move or do my visiting teaching this month.

And then I saw this over at Mormon Mommy Blogs and proceeded to tell myself to calm down.

Maybe you need to see it too.

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. I know I am not the only one who thinks she is the only one who ... but sometimes it's hard to imagine. Good luck in all your endeavors. Remember to breathe.

Every thing has a time and a season. You can't do everything the church has for you to do all at once. Some of these things take years to get to because you are busy bringing up kids. Some things don't interest some, like doing scrap books, or quilting. Our church SUGGEST many things to do so that everyone's personal interest might be peeked. Relax everybody!!! Have joy in what you are doing NOW!!

Grandma used to tell me the same thing as what your mom wrote.....there is a season for everything. I have no guilt in not canning everything in sight now. I used to but now I don't have the energy or desire and NO GUILT.
